I remember about over a year ago when I got "in" and didn't quite understand what could be done with this thing called "social media". I still see many people turning away from using any of these new communication channels. But like everything in life before, you can be full of fear or embrace it. It's coming if you like it or not. Your attitude determines your altitude. It is as if the phone just got invented and people choose to say no to using it. 

If you want to stay in touch, stay in the know or if you have a message and want to get it out to as many people as possible, you cannot close your doors on this technology.

Jeremy Rifkin once wrote in one of his future trend watching books "Access" that the future belongs to the ones that have or grant access. This is the beginning of the end of hard asset ownership. The new culture of hypercapitalism where all of life is a paid for experience..
